Our story is about Ella, an ex-con single mom who exploits a mysterious glitch on her TV, to raise money for her son’s schooling. This phenomena inspires and divides the border town where they have settled. The crisis comes, when Ella’s dark past is exposed. Now the Angel Lady really needs to believe in herself and in miracles – to survive.

Doña María is Ella’s neighbor – a curandera – a healer and a leader in their trailer park. She is the embodiment of our message, “We are Angels to Each Other.” Doña María and her Ladies, help Ella host the Angel on her TV. They decorate her trailer, and fill it with love, food, and joy.
ANGEL LADY offers a window into a community of no judgment.
